NATALIE POUNDS, M.D.

Dr. Pounds is originally from Austin, Texas. She attended Rhodes College in Tennessee where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Pounds completed her medical training at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. While in medical school, Dr. Pounds was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Gold Humanism Award in Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and served as Chief Resident for the program in 2011-2012. Dr. Pounds continues to maintain affiliation with Children’s Medical Center and frequently teaches both residents and medical students. She currently serves as an officer for the Pediatric Society of Greater Dallas and has been recognized as one of the Best Pediatricians in Dallas for the past two years. Dr. Pounds is married and a mother of two beautiful children, Owen and Holly. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Pounds enjoys traveling, waterskiing and spending time with her family.
