HEIDI KIM, M.D.
Dr. Heidi Kim was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where she met her husband Andy, who is currently a pediatric hospitalist. While in medical school, Dr. Kim received the Gold Humanism Award in Medicine for demonstrating compassion and dedication to service. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, where she received the “Outstanding Resident in Pediatric Emergency Medicine” award for clinical excellence and superb patient care.
Dr. Kim and her husband have two young boys and a sweet rescue dog. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, playing guitar, and reading. Dr. Kim truly cherishes her patients and their families and feels grateful for the privilege to serve as their pediatrician.
